A pair of Mustang from the 361 FG / 375 FS on a long range escort mission over a scattered group of Forts.
The main mustang, “Detroit Miss” is flown by the Lt Urban Drew. Autumn 1944.
There’s still a debate about the color of fin and wingtips of the Drew’s a/c. After long research, my take is that it is coherent of the 375 Fighter Squadron’s colors, blue.
